As many of you know I am Meeta, Sandip's wife. On behalf of Sandip I would like to set up this page to raise funds for St Luke's charity.


Sandip was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma over three years ago. The prognosis for this cancer is poor. From an early stage Sandip received support from St Luke's Hospice at home to manage symptoms. Even though the cancer was terminal, the goal was always to keep him at home for as long as possible and allow him to spend more time with our daughter Ria. In the later stages we received phenomenal support from St Luke's which covered all of Sandip's needs and requirements at the last stages. He was so grateful for the care, support and comfort the staff at the hospice provided. Something I will eternally be thankful for. 


St Luke's Hospice receives some funding from the government, but it is not nearly enough to cover the operating costs of the centres. It relies heavily on donations to provide the service it does to terminally ill patients and for end-of-life-care. For this reason, and given the enormous support it provided to Sandip during his last days, we have chosen this charity for his Just-giving page.


There is no obligation to donate, but anything you can give towards this Charity in memory of Sandip will help.
